8,000 laptops in total are being distributed to over 500 Primary and Secondary Schools in the next two weeks by the Ministry of Education for teachers and students to use.
The Minister of Education has said that in today’s learning environment, a digital device is a necessary tool to support academic success.
In total, the Ministry says it has distributed over 71 thousand laptops and tablets to students and teachers.
But, in order to get one, parents need to complete and pass a Means Test, which is accessible on the Ministry’s website.
The devices are then provided to eligible students, based on supplies.
