The Point Lisas Desalination Plant is slowly returning to normal production capacity following an electrical issue.
The facility was restarted at 7pm yesterday after operations were halted on Saturday afternoon.
In an update, WASA said DESALCOTT had achieved 85% production capacity or 34 million gallons per day as at 4pm today.
The issue has affected the water supply to persons in parts of Central and South West Trinidad.
WASA says it will continue to supplement the shortfall with water from the Caroni and Navet Water Treatment Plants, the Point Fortin Desalination Plant and a truck borne service.
