It is a crime if one fails to stop and render aid in the case of a serious accident.

This warning comes from TTPS Road Traffic and Safety Coordinator Sergeant Brent Batson.

Speaking on 103.1FM this morning, he said there is now a disturbing trend of hit and run accidents.

Sergeant Batson also revealed that reductions in this year’s road traffic fatalities were undone recently.
