A 20-year-old woman has appeared before a Chaguanas Magistrate, charged with the murder of a New York man.

66-year-old Ghandi Ramlochan arrived in Trinidad on July 1st and was last seen alive in the company of a woman on July 2nd.

His remains were found inside a burnt car on July 3rd.

Bridget Ramsumir was arrested on August 22nd and appeared before Chaguanas Magistrate Duane Murray today.

The matter was adjourned to September 27th 2023.
