Parts of Southwest Trinidad are being affected by issues at the Siparia and Cap-de-Ville water treatment plants.

A leaking pipeline at the Siparia facility has affected water supply to Quinam Road, Sennon Village, Railway Road, Mary, George and Victoria, Upper De Gannes, Lower Coora Road, Coora Hernandez Road, Coora Extension, Mendez, Saney Trace, Kay Trace, Prana Home Development and High Street inclusive of all side streets.

WASA says supply should be restored by 6pm today.

Meanwhile, a mechanical problem at the Cap-deVille plant has led to reduced pressures to Erin Farm, Cap-de-Ville Junction to Erin Junction inclusive of side streets along the S.S. Erin Road, Jackson Trace, Puerto Grande Road, La Resource Road and Buenos Ayres.

WASA says restoration of supply is expected at 6pm on Monday 4th, September, 2023.
