Caroni Licensing Office to reopen on Friday due to utility challenge

A utility challenge forced the closure of the Caroni Licensing Office at 10am today.

In an update, the Works Ministry says regular operations will resume on Friday September 1st, 2023.

It notes that persons whose appointments were affected today will be accommodated between Friday and Thursday, September 7th.

The Ministry says those affected are not required to reschedule their appointment.

The Ministry is reminding persons that proof of address is required for their transactions, in the form of a cable bill, home internet bill, electricity bill or water bill, no older than three months.

If an individual does not have a utility bill in their name, a letter of authorization is needed from the owner and a copy of their ID card.
