“Echoes of Times Past” exhibition to commemorate National Patriotism Month

The National Museum and Art Gallery of Trinidad and Tobago will host an exhibition called “Echoes of Times Past”.

It’s a month-long call to reflection and celebration as Trinidad and Tobago commemorates ‘National Patriotism Month’.

Happening at Castle Killarney – formerly known as Stollmeyer’s Castle – the exhibition features mixed-media paintings and sculptures from Trinidad and Tobago’s National Collection.

The pieces were curated by guest curator Carlisle Harris, who boasts several decades of experience as an artist and previously served on the executive team of the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago.

“Echoes of Times Past” explores art’s significance in society, artists’ roles, and how specific genres shed light on our cultural perspectives about beauty, excellence, memory, and celebration.
