Guyana Amazon Warriors picked up a 65-run win over the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in last night’s CPL clash.

Batting first, Guyana made 197/7 with a top score of 54 from Shai Hope, while Oshane Thomas lead the Patriots bowling with 3/38 in four overs.

In response, Evin Lewis showed some resistance for the Patriots with 48 from 24 balls but he only got support from Ambati Rayudu who made 32.

But Gudakesh Motie (4/29) and Imran Tahir (2/35) sparked a Patriots batting collapse, from 83/2 to 132 all out in 16.5 overs, as only three batters got into double figures.

There’ll be no CPL action today (August 25th) but games resume tomorrow at 10am with St Lucia Kings vs Trinbago Knight Riders and then 7pm with Barbados Royals vs St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
