Details have been released regarding traffic and parking arrangements to facilitate the annual Independence Day Parade next week Thursday, August 31st.

The National Security Ministry says the parade will begin at 7:30am at the Queen’s Park Savannah.

Unauthorized vehicles will not be allowed to proceed west around the Savannah in the vicinity of Memorial Park to Victoria Avenue, however alternative routes are available for commuters.

Meanwhile, the Ministry says 500 seats have been reserved in the Eastern Wing at the Savannah to view the parade.

Limited public invitations are available and can be collected from the Ministry’s Defence Section on Abercromby Street, Port of Spain.
