T&T batter Lendl Simmons hit a 23-ball 41 but his Atlanta Riders lost to New York Warriors in US Masters T10 action.

The tournament showcases active and retired players and is being held in Florida.

Yesterday, Simmons led Atlanta to 103/6 in 10 overs but, despite his knock and a wicket for compatriot Rayad Emrit, New York got to their target on the final ball.

Barbados’ Jonathan Carter made 41 not out and hit two sixes off the final two balls to secure a six-wicket win.

Elsewhere, Denesh Ramdin and the California Knights lost to Navin Stewart and the Morrisville Unity by seven-wickets, while Fidel Edwards put in a Player of the Match performance with 3/5 in two overs as Texas Chargers beat New Jersey Triton’s by eight wickets.
