There is a voluntary recall of medications Apo-Amitriptyline 10mg and 25mg and Apo-Acyclovir 200mg, 400mg and 800mg.

The Health Ministry says the recall was issued by the product’s manufacturer Apotex Incorporated for exceeded limits of N-Nitroso Nortriptyline in three lots and the presence of NDMA which was exceeded in five lots.

The Ministry advises persons who may be in possession of the recalled products to discontinue its use and to return it to the place of purchase.
