A section of the Golden Grove Road will be temporarily closed over part of the weekend to replace a culvert crossing.

The Works Ministry says the closure occurs in the vicinity of MTAR, between the 5.5 km mark (BWIA Boulevard 1.2 km mark) and the 7.5 km mark of Golden Grove Road, from 8pm on Saturday to 8am on Sunday.

During this period, only local traffic will be allowed up to the point of the work zone, and the Piarco International Airport will not be accessible from the Cell Phone Waiting Lot area.

The Ministry adds that Caroni North Bank Road and Mausica Road can be used as alternative routes.
