The National Security Ministry will continue to work with United Nations Population Fund to eradicate gender-based violence towards women and youth in the country.

It comes as Minister Fitzgerald Hinds met with UNPFA Head of Office, Aurora Noguera-Ramkissoon earlier today.

Discussions also included implementing a strategic plan to help prevent violence against women and girls.

Mr Hinds commended Ms. Noguera-Ramkissoon for the important work of the UN Fund and promised the cooperation of the Ministry for other collaborative efforts.
