Jack Warner believes the PNM has done nothing about local government reform despite talking about it for decades.

The topic has been part of the PNM’s 2023 Local Government Election campaign with the Prime Minister even calling on voters to cast their ballots for the PNM to support such reform.

However, at a UNC meeting in Arima last night, Mr Warner claimed the PNM’s push for local government reform has been part of manifestos for years.

Echoing Mr Warner’s sentiments was NTA Leader Gary Griffith who said he too had planned to raise the same points about local government reform.

The Local Government Election will be held on Monday.
