Ranveer Singh is hoping he can fill the legendary shoes worn by Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

Yesterday the actor was announced as the star for “Don 3” taking over from SRK who starred as the titular character in “Don” and “Don 2” which were released in 2006 and 2011, respectively.

Before SRK though, there was Amitabh Bachchan, who starred in the 1978 hit “Don”.

Ranveer’s casting has been met with mixed reviews, but the actor is hoping that fans given him a chance.

On Instagram, he shared a throwback photo and expressed admiration for the actors that preceded and inspired him.

He sees it as a chance to take their legacy forward and promised to be the best Don he can be.
