T&T’s Club Sando into semis of CONCACAF tournament

T&T football club Club Sando have qualified for the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Caribbean Club Shield in St Kitts.

Sando finished with three wins from three games in Group D after beating Aruba’s SV Dakota 3-0.

Kevon Williams, Nicholas Dillon and Isaiah Thompson scored the goals in yesterday’s encounter as Sando finished top of the Group.

They bossed the group stage scoring 16 goals in three games and not conceding a single goal.

Leading the scoring for Club Sando so far is Nicholas Dillon who scored a hat-trick against SWA Sharks of Turks and Caicos Islands and notched his fourth goal against SV Dakota.

Sando will face Martinique’s Golden Lion on August 11th in the semi for a chance to face either RobinHood from Suriname or Metropolitan from Puerto Rico in the final on August 13th.
