T20 series alive as India wins 3rd game

India successfully chased their target in the 3rd T20I against the West Indies at Providence Stadium, effectively keeping the five-match series alive.

The home team, after securing wins in the first two games, batted first in this match and scored 159/5 in 20 overs.

Brandon King’s 42 and Rovman Powell’s powerful 40 not out were the highlights of the Windies’ batting, while Kuldeep Yadav’s 3/28 rounded off India’s attack.

In response, Suryakumar Yadav was brilliant with the bat, scoring 83 runs off 44 deliveries and youngster Tilak Varma scored 49 to guide India to victory with 13 balls to spare.

The final two games are to be played in Ft. Lauderdale, USA with both teams still in contention for the trophy.
