The T&T Scout Association says its members are safe in South Korea following a decision to move the ongoing World Scout Jamboree due to an impending typhoon.
The event started on August 1st and is set to run until August 12th, but Typhoon Khanun has been bearing down on South Korea and is expected to reach on Thursday.
The World Scout Jamboree organizers have since decided to have an early departure for all participants at the campsite.
In an update to its Facebook page this morning, the T&T Scout Association assured that its members are secure through the management and assistance of the South Korean government and the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
