National Quarries workers staged a demonstration in front the company’s head office yesterday, demanding the removal of CEO Vindel Kerr.

Armed with placards, the workers marched while chanting “mismanagement” and “change management”.

A representative said the workers are frustrated and believe that poor management of the company’s resources has been exacerbated since the CEO came into office.

He claimed that important equipment was not being repaired, while resources needed to maintain operations were not being provided.

The workers say they are now concerned about the future of their jobs and of the company.
