In the coming weeks, Cricket West Indies will meet with the CARICOM Sub-Committee on Cricket chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley.
During this time, governance reform will be on the agenda.
In a statement today, Cricket West Indies President Dr. Kishore Shallow expressed unwavering commitment to deliver a new era of governance reform within the organization.
Dr Shallow says governance is a key element in reinvigorating the CWI and believes the way forward is for all stakeholders to recognize that the reform effort is fundamental to the transformation and advancement of West Indies cricket.
He adds that there must be a “measure of insistence” and “a sense of priority” towards the reform exercise.
The CWI President says full consideration will be given to reports produced over the years including, but not limited to, the 1992 Governance Report, Patterson Report 2007, Wilkins Report 2012, Barriteau Report 2015, and Wehby Report 2020.
