The Telecommunications Authority says consumers of telecommunications services are advised not to be forced to take a bundled package by their service provider because of threats that they will lose their fixed phone number and service if they do not comply in three days.
It is advising consumers they have a right to choose the service that is best for them as there is a choice of providers and services offered based on price and quality of service.
And, TATT says if consumers feel forced into upgrading their services, they should contact their service provider and lodge an official complaint.
If the matter is not resolved by the service provider, Consumers should contact the Authority via 800 TATT or 800 8288 and lodge a complaint.
