Four hikers have been rescued, hours after an alarm was raised over their whereabouts.

According to the Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Vallence Rambharat, the two men and two women embarked on a hike to Edith Falls in Chaguaramas yesterday.

An alarm was raised after they failed to return.

HSRT, along with fire officials, launched a search, and found the four around 3:30 this morning, about six kilometres behind the radar station in Mount St Catherine.

All four were uninjured.
