A Mt. Hope man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Donny Dick.

The 44-year-old victim was found dead on July 17th 2024, at Upper Irving Street, Petit Bourg, San Juan.

20-year-old Jafari Fernandez, aka ‘Sweeter-Man’, was subsequently held and charged with murder, Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.

On June 4th 2025 he appeared before Master Rehanna Hosein, who set his Sufficiency Hearing date for November 24th 2025.
