The 2025 Wet Season will most likely see near-normal rainfall.

Near-normal means between 75% and 125% of the Long term Average is expected.

According to the Met Service’s Wet Season Rainfall Outlook, the period June-July-August is likely to be mostly wet as usual.

Overall, T&T is likely to receive 8-13 heavy rainfall days over the course of the 2025 Wet Season.

It is also likely to receive 1-3 extremely heavy rainfall days, and at least one day is likely to produce 75 mm or more.

As for the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season, the TTMS is focused on an Area of Interest (see below), which lies to the east in the Atlantic.

The TTMS says 1-5 named storms are likely in the area, with 3 being the most likely number.

As for hurricanes, 0-2 are likely in the area, with 1 being the most likely number.
