Operations at several WASA water treatment plants continue to be affected by the inclement weather.

These include Guanapo, Mc David, La Pastora, Caura, Acono, L&N, Quare, Aripo, North Oropouche, and Las Cuevas, La Fillette and Blanchisseuse.

The Authority says this is due to high turbidity caused by heavy rainfall and clogged screens caused by flooded river conditions.

Areas affected as a result include parts of Arima, Lopinot, parts of Tunapuna, El Dorado, Five Rivers, Valencia and Las Cuevas.
