17-year-old Zwade Alleyne has died.

The teenager was shot in the head while outside his home in Maloney Gardens on the night of May 10th.

A short while ago, a senior police official confirmed to 103.1FM News that the teenager succumbed to his injuries today.

Zwade was a Form 5 student at the Arima North Secondary School.

He was also a gifted footballer and considered a vital part of his community academy.

He also achieved several milestones with his school including East Zone Intercol champion; East Zone Senior KO champion; East Zone U-16 League and KO champion, all in 2023.
