Today, Health Minister Dr. Lackram Bodoe toured the Couva Hospital and Multi-Training Facility with officials from UDeCOTT.

According to the Ministry, this site visit facilitated a gap analysis, facility assessment and a review and verification of assets to determine the hospital’s readiness for utilization.

It adds that this is in alignment with the Government’s mandate to operationalize the Couva Children’s Hospital.

Accompanying the Dr Bodoe on the tour was Minister in the Health Ministry Dr. Rishad Seecheran and Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram.
