The TTPS says an operation at the T&T Cricket Board headquarters in Couva yesterday was part of a fraud investigation.

The exercise was coordinated by Deputy Police Commissioner Suzette Martin and supervised by Acting Assistant Superintendent Stanley.

Officers from the Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant in the presence of the Administrative Manager and the TTCB President.

The TTPS says several offices within the Administration Building were searched, with a substantial quantity of documents seized.

It adds that investigations into alleged fraud-related offences are continuing.
