Energy Minister, Dr. Roodal Moonilal, and Minister in the Ministry, Ernesto Kesar, have met with the heads of all energy related state enterprises.

According to the Ministry, the aim was to apprise both ministers on the current state of the companies’ operations and chart the way forward for continued discussions to focus on priority areas.

Dr Moonilal and Mr Kesar subsequently reiterated the Government’s commitment to ensuring that each citizen reaps the benefits of the nation’s resources.

The State Enterprises represented at the meeting were: Heritage Petroleum Company Limited, Paria Fuel Trading Company Limited, Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited, Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited, The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago, The National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago, The NGC Green Company Limited, Trinidad Nitrogen Company Limited, Trinidad Generation Unlimited and Trinidad and Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited.
