This evening, search efforts will resume at Mayaro Beach to find 14-year-old Sameer Ragbir.

The teenager was bathing in the sea near Bel Air Road around 4pm yesterday, when he got into difficulty and disappeared in the water.

His family raised an alarm, with several coming together to launch a search operation.

The Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Vallance Rambharat says efforts will continue later this evening when sea conditions are appropriate.
