Michael Quamina has resigned as Chairman of Trinidad Petroleum Holdings Ltd and two of its subsidiaries.

There are four subsidiaries in total: Heritage Petroleum Company Limited; Paria Fuel Trading Company Limited; Guaracara Refinery Limited and Petroleum Company of T&T (Petrotrin).

In addition to TPHL, Mr Quamina was also Chairman of Guaracara and Petrotrin.

In a letter announcing his resignation, he said he was extremely proud of the group’s accomplishments, which would not have been possible without its staff.
