There were mixed tales at polling stations across the country today, with some persons voting within a matter of minutes, while others are allegedly queuing for hours.
Persons at polling stations in the morning period reported a generally quick process.
By the afternoon however, lines at some stations grew greatly, with some reported having to wait hours to cast their vote.
Others says they got fed-up of waiting, and left without casting a ballot.
When contacted, the EBC an official said claims of long waiting times had been “significantly exaggerated” and “do not reflect the reality at the polling stations”.
