A body has been found at Mussarap Trace in Barrackpore.

The discovery was made around 12:30pm today by the Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Vallence Rambharat.

While no identity has yet been established, it is believed to 15-year-old Malini Persad who was reported missing earlier this week.

The body will be examined to confirm an identity and establish a cause of death.
