Cricket legend Desmond Haynes has been appointed to the ICC Men’s Cricket Committee.

Haynes joins the committee following the completion of the tenure of former West Indies all-rounder and cricket administrator Roger Harper.

He most recently served as the Lead Selector for the West Indies Men’s teams from January 2022 to June 2024 and now brings to his new role his sharp cricket mind and deep understanding of the modern game.

The ICC Men’s Cricket Committee operates as a sub-committee of the Chief Executives’ Committee, and focuses on matters related to the playing of international cricket.
