Police yesterday held a man who was attempting to throw items over the walls from outside the Port of Spain prison.

The 27-year-old man was caught around 6:40am, with a black bag containing cigarettes and rolling paper.

He was one of six persons arrested yesterday.

The others were held for gun, ammo and drug possession while a Toco man was arrested for having a wild animal during the Closed Hunting Season.
