A man and woman were reportedly killed during a police involved shooting in Bamboo No. 3 early this morning.

According to a Trinidad Express article, police were confronted with gun fire while investigating a report of extortion.

Police returned fire, killing a man identified as Paul Bacchus and a woman who has not yet been identified but is suspected to be a Venezuelan migrant.

This incident comes on the heels of two others which saw three persons killed in police involved shootings.
