Prime Minister Stuart Young has announced plans to establish a new Ministry to enhance the execution of Government initiatives and address inefficiencies across the system.

At the opening of the La Brea Community Centre this morning, Mr Young said the Ministry of Implementation and Efficiency will fall under the Office of the Prime Minister, will be introduced following the upcoming General Elections.

According to Mr Young, the proposed Ministry’s role would be to break the bureaucracy within the confines of the law and promote efficiencies as things easily get lost because “for too long, things get lost in abeyance.”

Meanwhile, at this morning’s ceremony, Mr Young turned the sod for the La Brea Community Enhancement Sporting Project.

The new facility will feature an 80 foot community swimming pool with 8 lanes for recreational and competitive use, a dual purpose pavilion for 200 persons and an upgraded playing field.
