Former Senator Nicole Dyer Griffith is now recovering at home after her recently completed surgery to remove a tumour in her brain.

In a Facebook post this morning, Mrs Dyer-Griffith commended the quality of doctors in Trinidad & Tobago who helped her through the surgery.

She added that she used doctors from both the public and private sectors during this medical journey.

A few days before Carnival, Dyer-Griffith said an MRI revealed a tumour in her brain, following her ongoing battle with breast cancer.
