The TTPS is again reminding of drone restrictions during Carnival 2025.

This follows an incident on Carnival Monday in which a falling drone injured a person.

The TTPS says drone operations are prohibited in:

• Port of Spain
• Chaguaramas
• Caroni
• Point A Pierre
• Point Lisas
• Point Fortin
• Galeota

The only exceptions to these restrictions apply to operators who have received official authorization from the T&T Civil Aviation Authority.

The TTPS says its Air Support Unit will be deploying law enforcement drones across the country, with increased surveillance over Port of Spain and surrounding areas.
