Four people were killed this morning in South Korea after a highway construction project collapsed.

Reuters reported the accident occurred after five concrete structures supporting the highway bridge collapsed one after the other after being hoisted in place by a crane.

The deaths included two Chinese nationals and six additional injuries, five of which are critical.

The National Fire Agency said three helicopters and nearly 150 officials are involved in the search and rescue operation.
