Acting Commissioner of Police Junior Benjamin announced that the Brasso Police Station will be re-opened as early as next week.

In a media conference this afternoon, he noted that violent crimes increased in Tabaquite and environs during the past weeks.

Four years ago, the police station was repurposed for the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) Child Protection Unit.
