A Penal man has appeared in court charged with murder, following a year-long investigation by police.

37-year-old Shedwyn Jones of Lachoos Road was arrested last Thursday by officers who were looking into the death of Lalchan Edwards on January 31st, 2024.

Edwards was found dead with gunshot wounds at Hibiscus Drive.

Jones stood before Master Whitney Franklin in the High Court on Monday and had his sufficiency hearing set for August 19th, 2025.
