The OWTU has accused the Labour Ministry of failing T&TEC workers.
President General Ancel Roget spoke with media today as the union delivered a 2nd letter to OSHA’s Executive Director Carolyn Sancho.
The letter called for an urgent meeting with OSHA to discuss health and safety concerns for T&TEC workers across all 6 divisions.
The Union is demanding attention to the matter as T&TEC has been unresponsive to their requests to address concerns of unsafe working conditions, lack of PPE, untrained contract workers among other complaints.
