The US has seized a second plane belonging to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s government.

AP News reported the formal acquisition happened on Thursday in the Dominican Republic in the presence of US State Secretary Marco Rubio.

The Dassault Falcon 200 aircraft was frequently used by Maduro and other top officials for world travel, violating US sanctions.

The first aircraft was seized in September 2024, also in the Dominican Republic.
