$7 million spent to upgrade 2 south schools

$7 million was spent to upgrade two South schools.

According to the Education Ministry’s Facebook page, $2.5m was invested in Point Fortin West Secondary and $4.5m at Siparia West Secondary.

The allocations were for infrastructural upgrades, including roof & ceiling repairs, plumbing and air-conditioning.

This was done through the Ministry’s Schools of Focus initiative, where emphasis is placed on infrastructural works at schools over 50 years old.
