Mexican President to provide 10,000 soldiers for US-Mexico Border

US President Donald Trump said that Mexico’s President, Claudia Sheinbaum has agreed to supply 10,000 Mexican soldiers on the border separating Mexico and the US.

Speaking via X today, he said this is specifically designated to stop the flow of the drug fentanyl and illegal migrants into the US.

He has also agreed to pause tariffs on Mexico for one month, during which negotiations will be headed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. President Trump said he looks forward to participating in negotiations with President Sheinbaum to achieve what he calls “a deal” between the two countries.
