The TTPS says Chief of Defence Staff, Vice
Marshal Darryl Daniel is not a person of interest in the ongoing firearms importation investigation.

In a statement it says it is aware of certain social media posts alluding to the arrest and interrogation of Air Vice Marshal Daniel.

It adds however that he has neither been arrested nor interrogated in this matter.

The statement goes on to say, “The TTPS urges the public to rely on verified sources for information and refrain from spreading unconfirmed reports. All updates on this matter that are available for public disclosure will be communicated through official channels via the Corporate Communications Unit of the TTPS.”
