An elderly man died in a fire at his Gasparillo home this morning.

According to reports, the victim is 79-year-old Holister Hamilton.

A 52-year-old woman also suffered burns and remains hospitalized.

The blaze at the one-storey wooden structure on Thompson Street Extension reportedly began around 7:30am.
