Police have identified one of three men killed in a shootout with officers on Tuesday night.

He is 20-year-old Randy Gobin of Hutton Street, St. Joseph.

At this time, the two other deceased remain unidentified.

The men were chased by police from the scene of a robbery at a supermarket at the corner of Welcome Road and Raghunanan Road in Cunupia.

After their vehicle crashed, there was a fire fight, during which time three of suspects were fatally shot, and two escaped.

According to the TTPS, Gobin was driving the suspects’ vehicle.
