10 held during SoE operations in the Southern Division

The TTPS says 10 offenders were held in the Southern Division during operations targeting high-risk areas and individuals.

On the morning of January 18th 2025, five suspects were held: two in connection with a robbery investigation, one for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and one for possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.

The TTPS says the fifth suspect, a known gang affiliate, was held for possession of cocaine.

Meanwhile on January 19th 2025, several house searches were searched, resulting in five more arrests for narcotics and ammunition related offences.

Officers also reportedly seized over one kilogram of cannabis and two rounds of ammunition.
